2015 AMS Whiteman Prize ad Umberto Bottazzini

L’American Mathematical Society ha attribuito al collega Umberto Bottazzini (Università di Milano) il prestigioso premio “2015 AMS Whiteman Prize” per i suoi importanti contributi sulla storia della matematica.
La motivazione del premio è la seguente

“The range and quality of [Bottazzini’s] contributions is appreciated equally for their historical subtlety and mathematical insight, and make him a natural recipient of the Whiteman Prize.”

Bottazzini verrà insignito del premio il prossimo 11 Gennaio a San Antonio, Texas
