Organizers:
- Fabio Camilli (University of Chieti-Pescara “Gabriele d’Annunzio”, Italy)
- Paulo Artaxo (University of São Paulo, Brazil),
- Giuseppe Floridia (University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Italy)
MSC codes: 86A08
Description:
This session focuses on recent advances in climate modeling aimed at improving attribution studies, the representation of extreme phenomena, and the assessment of climate change impacts. Contributions will address methodological developments, enhanced model resolution, and improved treatment of uncertainties. The goal is to better quantify the links between anthropogenic forcing, extreme events, and their social and environmental consequences.
