Organizers:

  • Umberto Guarnotta (University of Catania, Italy),
  • Salvatore Angelo Marano (University of Catania, Italy),
  • Olimpio Hiroshi Miyagaki (Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil)

MSC codes: 35J62

Description:

This special session aims to bring together experts in the existence, regularity, and qualitative properties of solutions to nonlinear elliptic equations and systems. The scope includes problems with both variational and non-variational structure, with particular attention to those having nonlocal behavior or exhibiting loss of compactness phenomena. The session will focus on the latest trends in the analysis of these problems and the development of cutting-edge variational and topological techniques to address them.
