Special Session 25
Geometric Analysis
Organizers:
- Alberto Roncoroni (Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy),
- Allan Freitas (Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil)
MSC codes: 53C20, 35R01, 53C24
Description:
Geometric Analysis is a vibrant field at the interface of Differential Geometry and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). It explores geometric structures through analytic methods, including the study of curvature flows, variational problems, geometric measure theory, and nonlinear elliptic and parabolic PDEs arising from geometry and physics. Key themes include minimal surfaces, Einstein metrics, Ricci flow, and spectral geometry. The session aims to bring together researchers working on recent advances in Geometric Analysis, with an emphasis on the interplay between analytic techniques and geometric structures. Moreover, the session is intended to foster interaction between different perspectives within the field and to stimulate further collaborations.
