2nd Joint Meeting Brazil-Italy in Mathematics
From the 7th to the 11th of September, 2026, the University of Messina will host the 2nd Joint Meeting Brazil-Italy in Mathematics co-organized by the Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática (SBM), the Unione Matematica Italiana (UMI), the Sociedade Brasileira de Matematica Aplicada e Computacional (SBMAC) and the Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale (SIMAI). The 1st Brazil-Italy Joint Meeting in Mathematics was held from the 29th of August to the 2nd of September, 2016 at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (Rio de Janeiro).
Further information on scientific program, plenary speakers and special sessions will follow in due time.

Travel grants for the Brazil–Italy Joint Meeting
The Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática (SBM) and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences of the Americas (IMSA) have launched a call for travel grants to support participation in the 2nd Brazil–Italy Joint Meeting in Mathematics (Messina, September 7–11, 2026).
