From the 7th to the 11th of September, 2026, the University of Messina will host the 2nd International SBM-UMI Joint Meeting in Mathematics co-organized by the Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática (SBM) and the Unione Matematica Italiana (UMI). The 1st International SBM-UMI Joint Meeting was held from the 29th of August to the 2nd of September, 2016 at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (Rio de Janeiro).
