Using randomness to capture the turbulent nature of fluids is an exciting challenge, giving rise to a plethora of open problems that intrigue young mathematicians. Owing to the intrinsic complexity of these phenomena, progress cannot rely solely on rigorous theoretical analysis but must also involve increasingly sophisticated numerical simulations.
