Grants for doctorates

Here the agreements with research institutes of high scientific profile.
The Mathematics Italian Union has concluded agreements with the following research institutes:
1. Istituto de Matematica Pura e Aplicada (IMPA), Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
2. King’s College London (KINGS), Londra, Great Britain
3. Korea Institute of Advances Studeis (KIAS), Seul, Korea
4. Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT),  Cambridge, USA
5. Pontificia Universidade Catolica  (PUC), Rio De Janeiro, Braszl
6. Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM), Bonn, Germany
7. École Polytechnique, France
8. KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden

The initiative is dedicated to doctoral students of high scientific profile studying at an Italian institution. Each agreement creates an access to the students who wish to attend a semester at one of the above mentioned structures. The goal is to promote mobility of high level doctoral students to a foreigner Institution so that they improve their scientific competences.
Following these agreements, UMI announces yearly two grants of  2.500 euro each, to cover possible registration costs and/or travel costs and/or accommodation costs. The call to assign the grants will be published two times per year (in May and December) on the UMI website. Once the selection of the candidates is concluded, the winners can use the assigned grant within twelve months after obtaining it.
